Private Photo Vault v1.3 should be coming out pretty soon. It fixes several things:
-When importing photos and the app does not have location access, it gives a specific message on how to enable them.
-Fixes a problem when deleting one of two identical photos in an album. Before, it would remove them both. Now it works as expected.
-There is a loading indicator when saving photos. This is to prevent people from thinking that the app has froze.
-Other minor fixes

hey guys i got photo vault and i was wondering if i have something in a private vault(iphone 4) does it get synced onto my computer and if so where would it be located at cause its not in my itunes library but its still on my phone
To get photos from Private Photo Vault to your computer, you need to first have all the photos you want to transfer in the iTunes Album. Now, go into iTunes and click on your device.
Next click the apps tab.
Scroll down to file sharing and select “Private Photo Vault”
Here you will be able to copy files to and from your device.

Hi, I have the app on my iphone, transferred photos from itunes library and deleted them from there, but still have in my photo vault on my iphone. How do I transfer or share these photos to my ipad. Do not want in my itunes for anyone to “view” as it is on my computer, like on iphone with password, now want it to be on ipad?
Does this make sense?
Thanks
John
John,
If I understand your correctly, you just want to transfer the photos from your iPhone to your iPad.
To do this, first make sure that you have Private Photo Vault on both devices.
Put photos you want on your iPad in the iTunes shared directory on your phone.
Next, go into iTunes and locate your iPhone.
Click the apps tab
Scroll down to file sharing and select “Private Photo Vault”
Here you will be able to copy files to and from your device.
Copy all files to your computer.
Plug in iPad
Select your iPad in iTunes
Go to app tab
Scroll down to file sharing and select private photo vault.
Copy all the photos saved to your computer to your iPad.
That should do it.

Actually, all the photos are only in my photo vault on my iphone, I deleted them from my iphone shared directory, so need to get them from iphone photo vault, wherever that is, to my ipad photo vault, have same app on both.
Does this make sense?
Did not want photos in either my iphone, ipad or itunes shared directory, they are sensitive…

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one with this problem and that it will be fixed. Thank you for your prompt reply.
I am getting an album error code 3311, (0x2008a) user denied access, when using this ap on my IPad,
I turned off access intitially when installing ap to IPad,
I did not turn access on IPhone and seems to work.
I hoped to use your program on my Ipad because I have over 5,000 pictures that I need to organize.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank you,
Ken greene
Ken,
You should be able to go into settings on your iPad and reenable location access for Private Photo Vault. This should fix the problem.

When I get on iTunes and look at my Private App transfer area, it doesn’t show anything there
So how do I transfer the pics to my computer?!!
I cant transfer my photos,i dont get any file on the file transfering
Carmen,
In order to transfer photos, your photos must be in the shared folder.

I like the idea of the ability to lock albums, but if some one gets in the app they can just turn passwords off in the settings, there should be a password lock for the settings. Also there should be the ability to delete break in photos, because it ends up becomming spammed, this would be also usless if the settings was not protected.
Matthew,
Thanks for your feedback, I will take your suggestions into consideration for the next update.
At the moment, you can delete break-in photos by swiping across them and then pressing delete. You are correct that this is not the easiest to delete though.
Thanks,
William
